Chickadee A-Frame

Place is perfectly located just outside of the center of Freeport. Secluded location with endless amenities. Pictures don’t even do it justice. This owner has thought of everything you need to spend your time visiting southern Maine in comfort. Don’t hesitate to book this little gem for your next visit. You won’t be sorry.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Chickadee A-frame!! The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful!! After touring on pretty busy roads, it was wonderful to come back to a quiet, secluded house each evening! The house was clean and comfortable. My husband and I slept in the room on the lower floor and our friends slept on the main floor. We all commented on how quiet it was once we were settled in for the night. I have to say that our lower floor bed was a bit firm for my husband and me, but many people prefer a firm bed.Qamer is an excellent host! Although we never met face-to-face, I always received a quick reply to my questions. Plus, we really enjoyed the kind gift bag and the little extras such as the candy jar and the supplies to make s'mores. Thank you so much for providing such a lovely home-base for our Maine adventure!!

Great place and friendly host!

We came up to Freeport to shop. We felt right at home. The house was easy to find and we were visited by a couple of Deer. We enjoyed the fire pit the second night, sitting outside on a beautiful evening. Would recommend a few things: hooks and towel racks in the bathroom on the main floor, bureaus in the bedrooms for clothes, not just closets. Night stand perhaps attached to the wall due to lack of space, in main floor bedroom. Better corkscrew. Long forks for s’mores. Next time I will know what to bring. All in all it was a lovely trip, totally enjoyable.

Absolutely perfect stay! The place was spotless and had everything we could have asked for. Close to downtown Freeport, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. The perfect mix of seclusion and safety — highly recommend!
